It is almost a"must" to do a fishing trip while in Tromso. Large cod is common to get at this time of year, and we also often catch catfish, coalfish, pollack,haddock and halibut. We have to date not gone empty-handed to the jetty! As an added bonus, we often see both eagles and small dolphins. The beautiful wintercolors surrounding us is breathtaking. The fishing tour ends with a feast of your own catch, which is made in a traditional Norwegian way. You can`t get a fresher fish meal.

Sørøya Havfiskecruise has been operating since2006, and we can proudly introduce ourselves as pioneer of winter tourism by boat in Tromso.  We use our steady and solid catamaran MB Havcruise, which is also specially built for fishing tourism. Top equipment, local knowledgeable skippers and crew with years of experience makes this a memorable, comfortable and safe trip.  A maximum of 12 guests per trip provides a social and cozy mood. The tour ends with a feast of your own catch.

We are very serious when it comes to safety. Yearly check on equipment and boat on authorized shipyard. All our passengers are well insured on board!

We follow all advices from the Norwegian Directorate of Health regarding the corona pandemic for all our fishing tours. We clean all equipment daily and after each trip. All cancellations due to the corona situation will be fully refunded. Guests who have symptoms of corona will be asked to leave the boat before arrival or departure.

Remember to show up in good time, we prefer at least 15 minutes before departure.Check up your meeting point in good time before departure, which is 08:30 am. Meeting point is at the outer floating Jetty (not the main pier)by Scandic Ishavshotel. There is an entress to that Jetty in the inner harbor at the end of the hotel.   There is also a map on the booking site. You meet beside our catamaran Havcruise (red and white).  We will not be able to wait more than 10 minutes after departure time.
